21,124 2 CVs were manufactured between January 1st and December 31st.
This year the Traction models underwent many changes. The colour range was extended and apart from black, a grey is also available. The wipers were moved from the top to the bottom of the windscreen. In October on the occasion of the 39e Salon de l'Automobile they received bigger boot compartment (avec malle - with boot). All those alterations keeps the pre-war favourite going, eighteen years after its debut in 1934.

From the spring of 1952, several changes were applied the Traction Avant. In May, turn signals appeared the front wings and rear quarter panels; at the same time, a small position light was put at the top of the central pillar between the doors. In June, the wipers were moved down the windscreen and the following month, four slots appear on the edge of the rim of the BM wheels. The bumpers remain curved but the front license plate becomes straight. Inside, the 11 CV of July 1952 benefits from the new decoration with grey dashboard and frame around the windscreen.

This year the 15 Six followed the changes made to the 11 CV. Turning signals replaced the semaphores in May, position lights were moved from the front wings onto the front pillars, in June the wipers went to the bottom of the windscreen. Dashboard become grey and the windscreen gained a surround in the same colour. New light grey velvet trimmings makes the interior more welcoming.
