Humber Sceptre Saloon was added to the Humber range at the start of the year and based on the Hillman Super Minx and Singer Vogue. Distinguishing features include a small radiator grille of vertical bars, twin headlamps, sidelamp units set in horizontal bar side grilles and rear fin mouldings forming a 'Vee' around the rear lamp clusters. The technical specification include a close ratio four-speed gearbox with standard overdrive and servo-assisted front disc brakes. Engine is tuned 1592cc with twin carbs on first few, giving 80 bhp and 88 mph top speed.
