Isuzu Hillman Minx

 

Isuzu powstaje na licencji angielskiego Hillmana.

The first vehicle to bear the name Isuzu was a 2-ton truck made in 1933 and commercial vehicles were the only Isuzus until 1953. By then the company had separated from DAT, which had become Nissan, and had been set up as Isuzu Motors in 1949. In October Isuzu began to make the Hillman Minx under licence. The first cars has a 70 per cent local content. An agreement with the Rootes Group was signed in February.


• March 1932: Ministry of Trade and Industry standard model car launched and named the 'Isuzu'.
