Modele 1937 produkowane na miejscu "po europejsku" zostały zaprezentowane w październiku ubiegłego roku na salonie w Paryżu. Mają one nowe błotniki przednie z wbudowanymi reflektorami i obszerniejsze bagażniki. Importowany V8-78 pojawił się w sprzedaży w lutym. Ze względu na francuskie przepisy ma on inne niż zamorski oryginał, bardziej konwencjonalne reflektory.

W pażdzierniku na salonie w Paryżu zaprezentowano dwa nowe modele na rok 1938: F82 i F81. Tym razem projektanci starali się bardziej zróżnicować oba modele, dlatego większy F81 na całkowicie zmieniony tył, podobny do Lincolna Zephyr.

In true American fashion French Matford changes the range every year. Produced locally 1937 models were presented in October last year at the salon in Paris. They have a new front wings with integrated headlights and bigger boot. Imported V8-78 appeared on sale on February. Due to the French legislation they have different than the original overseas couterparts, more conventional headlamps.
