ROLLS ROYCE SILVER WRAITH £31,484
Long-wheelbase version of the Silver Shadow II, the 'Wraith' is built mainly for chauffeur-drive requirements, having increased rear legroom, and can be ordered with or without glass division. Using the standard Silver Shadow body shell, the Rolls-Royce coachbuilders Mulliner-Park Ward cut it down the centre and inserted a 10.16 cm (4 in.) section to gain the extra length. The interior has automatic two-level air conditioning which can be set at a pre-required temperature, and the same temperature will be recorded thousands of miles later, in a different country, even in the tropics.

Corniche

(V8 cyl., 6750 cc; wb: 3050 mm)

ROLLS ROYCE CORNICHE £41,289
Produced in both convertible and hardtop form, the Corniche is available as a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley. All models are regarded as the 'sporting' versions of the famous Crewe manufacturer, but there is nothing harsh about a Corniche. Using the same 305 cm wheelbase as the Silver Shadow II and Camargue models, the shapely Corniche bodywork is by H. J. Mulliner-Park Ward, and is regarded by many as the most handsome of the R-R products. The Corniche has steering column-mounted "Cruise-Control", an ingenious device which enables the driver to rest his right foot while the car automatically maintains a pre-set speed.

Camargue

(V8 cyl., 6750 cc; wb: 3050 mm)

ROLLS ROYCE CAMARGUE £47,367
The ultimate in surface transport? Owners will certainly answer in the affirmative, for the two-door Camargue has just about every luxury fitting and appointment, as well as a very high (non-tiring) performance. Like all Rolls-Royce models, the Camargue has all-independent self-levelling suspension, central door-locking, and superb Connolly hide upholstery. It also has automatic two-level air-conditioning, unquestionably the finest obtainable, and radio and tape-playing equipment are standard. In spite of the 'coupe look', Rolls' most-expensive model has generous legroom in the rear compartment.
