Princess 3-Litre Mk 2
Princess 4-Litre
Princess 1100 – London

Great Britain

Her Majesty the Queen ordered a special Countryman version of the 3-Litre Princess.

Second of the up market variants to be announced the Princess 1100 has a luxury interior, with Connolly hides and walnut veneers. The dash has round instruments and switch panels set in a veneered dash. Other luxury touches are veneered picnic tables in the seat backs. Mechanical spec is same as MG with twin carb 55 bhp 1098cc engine giving 85 mph top speed.

After announcing that there would be no changes to the range this year B.M.C. changed their mind and introduced the Princess 1100. Based on the M.G. 1100 its luxury equipment should appeal to those who want more home comforts with their water suspension. Whether they can justify the expenditure of an extra £300 over the normal Morris 1100 is another matter.
