Modele Rural i Pick-up mają nowy, 3-litrowy silnik.

The Willys do Brasil company, which until recently was owned by American Kaiser Jeep and French Renault, was once Brazil's largest auto factory, but is now far behind the Brazilian Volkswagen. This year, Ford has bought the company. How the future production program will look there is not yet known. The production of the Renault Dauphine Gordini has already been abandoned in favour of a new, 1.3-litre, front-wheel drive car supposedly coming out.

Along with other models the Aero Willys becomes manufactured by Ford, Willys, pulling out of line the Executive Itamaraty (Ford claimed that no longer justified its production for the Ford It made also the Ford Galaxie 500).
New Rural versions: Luxury / Standard and new color option, all in two colors. Independent suspension in front with coil springs only in the vehicle (4x2 luxury) others with rigid axle and feiche springs. New steering column for luxury 4x2 model (same as Aero). It becomes manufactured by Ford Willys. New door handles (the same as Itamaraty) to 4x2 luxury model.

For the Jeep Universal, the Brazilian factory uses its own 2.6-liter six-cylinder engine, the same as in the sedan Aero-Willys 2600 with power output of 90 bhp (SAE).
