Nowy sedan 2600 został zaprezentowany w marcu w Genewie. Podwozie otrzymało hamulce tarczowe z przodu, w nadwoziu zmieniono przód, dodając reflektory a z tyłu zmniejszono wychodzące już z mody "skrzydła". Spider, który został sprzedany w największej liczbie egzemplarzy też otrzymał dodatkowe reflektory. Najmniej zmian przeszedł najmłodszy członek rodziny - Sprint. Na jego masce pojawił się kanał wlotu powietrza. Silnik to nowa konstrukcja oparta na lekkostopowej jednostce Giulietty, do której dodano dwa cylindry.
Powstało 2814 sedanów i 704 Coupé.
27 czerwca na torze wyscigowym w Monza odbyla sie premiera Giulii. Litery TI oznaczaja Turismo Internazionale (turystyka miedzynarodowa). Giulietta Sprint i Spider zostały zmodernizowane i przemianowane na Giulie. Powstało 27142 Sprintów
(w tym 3058 Veloce), 17096 Spiderów (w tym 2796 Veloce) i 1366 Sprint Speciale by Bertone
Giulietta sedan pozostaje jednak w ofercie. Na rok 1962 modele TI mają dźwignię zmiany biegów
standartowo montowaną w podłodze.
The new 2600 Berlina was launched in March at the Geneva Motor Show. It gained front disc brakes and a new front treatment with additional lights. Rear "fins", which are now not fashionable anymore have disapeared. The Spider, which overtook the 2000 saloon in sales, has now additional lights too. The youngest member of the familiy, the Sprint gained only an air scoop on the bonnet. The engine is an entirely new unit based on the light alloy Giulietta motor with two additional cylinders.
The Giulia was launched 27th June at the Monza race track. Sports models Sprint and Spider are now powered by 1.6 litre engines and renamed Giulia. Up to date 27,142 examples of the Sprint (3,058 Veloce) and 17,096 of the Spider (2,796 Veloce) were built.
