Powered by Ford's very reliable Flathead V8 Batten is built on the Ford cassis as two- or four seater drophed with wheelbase shortened by 16in (41 cm) measureing 96in (244cm), and the track is 8½ in (21.5 cm) narrower. Weighing in 2128 lb (965kg), the Batten in full tune is claiming 100mph (160 km/godz).
