In the first quatrer of 1940 Delahaye was busy selivering a few thousends of trucks for the military. On top of that the army ordered some liaison cars types VL and VGL based on the Type 148 chassis.
In the summer the factory came under control of two German commissioners, who required delivery of various trucks and even a few private cars.
