JENSEN INTERCEPTOR
Saloon: £9,629
Convertible: £11,501
Manufactured in both two-door saloon, and convertible form, the seven-litre Jensen is a luxury 2+2 with near-140 mph performance. Supplied as standard with automatic transmission, the Jensen is an effortless car to drive. Also effortless is the erection of the top on the convertible model, for an electrically-operated hydraulic pump does all the work at the touch of a switch. All windows are electrically operated, and there is air-conditioning as standard. New for 1976 is a walnut veneer facia with repositioned instruments for maximum visibility. The big V8 engine is a Chrysler.
