500 K został zaprezentowany w marcu na Salonie Samochodowym w Berlinie. Jest on następcą modelu 380 K. Wyposażony jest w rzędowy silnik 8 cylindrowy o pojemności 5018 cm³, osiągający moc 100 KM, a z włączoną sprężarką aż 160 KM. Doładowanie można włączyć na trzecim biegu, rozpędzając się do 100 km/h. Następnie uruchamia się półautomatyczny nadbieg systemu Maybacha. 2,5 tonowy samochód można rozpędzić do 160 km/h. Cena kompletnego auta oscyluje koło 22 tysięcy marek. Na drugim końcu skali znajduje się tylnosilnikowy 130 H o pojemności 1308 cm³. 1,5 litrowa wersja tego modelu odnisła sukces w wyścigu „2000 km durch Deutschland.”

From February a further addition to the range become available in the form of a two-door four-seater tourer, which could be ordered either with a body made in Sindelfingen or with third-party coachwork. From the same date, the four-door saloon is optionally available with a retractable roof made in Sindelfingen.

In February the 200 underwent a significant upgrade. The squat radiator gave way for the stylistically more pleasing wedge-shaped variant. Two new four-seater tourers are added to the range: a two-door version with third-party coachwork and a four-door version with a body made in Sindelfingen. Roadster and Convertible A now come with a 2600 mm wheelbase, which is the same as for the 170 (W 15) and which is 100 mm shorter than in the four-seater variants. A price tag of RM 7,800 make the Convertible A the most expensive variant of the 200.
A further addition is a longer version with a 3050 mm wheelbase available as a four-seater Convertible B and three six-seater body variants: a pullman saloon, pullman landaulet and an open tourer with third-party coachwork. The exdended space inside the pullman saloon make it especially suitable for use as a taxi.

In March, one year after the launch the 290 model range was augmented by a four-/five-seater open tourer. At the same time, a long-chassis version with a 420 mm longer wheelbase was unveiled with choice of a six-seater pullman saloon, Convertibles B and D and a six-seater open tourer. The 290 long serve as a successor to the Mannheim, which, despite its higher displacement and power output, was generally more sluggish and, above all, unable to compete with the excellent handling quality of the new swing-axle model.

From the beginning of 1934, apart from the chassis-only version, the available range includes just the pullman saloon and the Convertible C. At the same time, the 370 was given a subtly pointed radiator and equipped with overdrive as standard. Price are further reduced: instead of RM 10,800 without overdrive, the pullman saloon with its new additions now cost just RM 9,000. Customers who are happy with the flat radiator can make a further RM 250 saving. Also, the previous year's model without overdrive is on offer for just RM 7,950. In June 1934, the Convertible C was dropped from the model range. The Mannheim 370, or simply 370 Pullman continued until December 1934.

380 Limousine by Baur

380 Spezial Roadster In February, exactly one year after its launch, the 380 gave way to a higher-powered successor - the 500 K. The last of a total of 154 units of the 380 was produced in July. The top-selling body version was the Convertible B with 54 vehicles, closely followed by the Convertible C with 44 units. The Convertible A still managed to sell 16 units, with the open tourer finding 11 buyers. The least common variants were the roadster and the saloon with 7 and 6 units, respectively, while 19 chassis-only versions were also sold.

From February the model is simply called 500. The most eye-catching difference is the slightly raked wedge-shaped radiator and the winscreen.

The 130 designed by Hans Nibel and Max Wagner has a tubular backbone chassis that is forked at the rear to accommodate engine and transmission, the four-speed gear box with the engine being fore and aft of the rear axle respectively. The four-cylinder in-line powerplant is water-cooled with standing valves (side valve) delivering a power output of 26 hp. The front wheels are independently suspended with two transverse leaf springs. At the rear, the 130 has a swing axle with a single coil spring on each side. The 130 is available as a bare chassis, two-door saloon, two-door convertible saloon and two-door tourer.

500 K "Autobahn Kurier" at IAA in Berlin.
The new 500 model with supercharger was exhibited in Berlin in just one body style, so-called "Autobahn-Kurierwagen", which, according to the price list for the vehicles on show, "was specially constructed for particularly high speeds" and was described in a sales department circular as the "star attraction of the show". Conversely, with four different body versions, almost the entire 380 range.
In June 1934, seven versions of the 500 with supercharger were added to the price list. In addition to the chassis-only version, there is a four-door saloon, a two-seater roadster with two occasional seats, Convertibles A, B and C as well as a two-door open tourer. The price of each variant was RM 22,000, while the chassis-only version cost RM 15,500. The same price list already described the 380 as a "transitional model" with "restricted availability". The last 380 was produced in July 1934, two months after series production of the five‑litre model had commenced.
The original range of available bodies for the 500 K was extended in autumn 1934 to include an exceptionally elegant Special Roadster, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October and which cost RM 4,000 more than the other variants.

In 1933/34, the 150 (W 30) was developed as a two-seater sports saloon for use in competitions. Based on the 1.3‑litre unit from the 130, the engine delivers 55 hp, over 100% more than the original product by means of greater displacement and a new head with overhead valves operated by a spur-gear-driven overhead camshaft. The updraft carburettor gave way to a dual carburettor. The most significant change compared with the 130, which shared its chassis configuration with the 150, is relication of the engine/transmission by turning it by 180° and moving just behind the front seats.
The 150 sports saloon won four gold medals at the 2000-kilometre endurance race across Germany in July. In the Liège-Rome-Liège Rally at the end of August, having led the field between Rome and Pisa and on reaching the finishing line without penalty points, Hans-Joachim Bernet won the special prize for the best-placed closed-body car.
