300SE lang (W112): Long whell base saloon from March 1963 (pre-production in December 1962). From July available with an optional vacuum-controlled central locking system that simultaneously locks all doors, the boot and the filler cap.
230SL (W 113): successor to the 190 SL. Roadster with uprated six-cylinder injection type engine 220 SE. Like its predecessor, the 230 SL is not a car for tough racing conditions but a fast, refined and sophisticated touring car. 14 instead of 13 inch wheels and radial tires. The so-called pagoda shape of the removable coupe top allows a relatively easy entry and large side windows. Presented in March, production began in July.
600 (W100): One of the most exclusive cars in the world. Introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
