Plymouth 1935

P1 (R6 cyl SV, 3298 cm³)

Much has been ado in the Plymouth factories. Father Chrysler has brought this model into the Airflow line. Floors go down four inches. Motor gets a high compression ratio (6.7 to 1), and gets moved forward over the front axle. Rear axle goes back. Hence, a roomier body, which is of all-steel construction, bolted side-wise through the frame as well as top-mounted. Back in the line somewhere was a six that flounced its full-length water-jacketing. Plymouth has this too, plus "a new directional water circulation," and an air-cooled clutch, generator, and rear axle. Idea is to eliminate unwanted heat.
