The little vee-4, air-cooled Zaporozhets appears for the first time with a 75 x 54.5mm, 887 c.c. engine giving 27 b.h.p. at 4,000 r.p.m. A petrol-fired heater is installed in the engine compartment, fed with fuel by a Russian-made S.U.-type electric pump. The 887 c.c. engine is presumably similar to that installed in the restyled Zaporozhets which has been frequently depicted but was not shown at Leipzig.
